The cherry blossoms are still falling, and players are soaking up everything Week One has to offer—but Adopt Me already has its sights set on something much bigger for Week Two of the Cherry Blossom Festival. And by bigger, I mean monster-sized.
Starting this Friday, a brand new mini-game is dropping, and it’s totally different from the peaceful gliding of Sakura Swoop. This one’s about smashing, growing, and becoming an unstoppable force of nature.
Get Ready To Tear Up Toyko
The next mini-game in the festival lineup is called Tear Up Toyko, and it’s all about destruction. Players will ride massive monsters through a tiny toy city, stomping and smashing everything in sight. The more chaos you cause, the larger your monster becomes—eventually letting you flatten entire city blocks.
It’s a multiplayer race, so you’ll be going up against up to three other players to see who can destroy the most and grow the fastest. The winner? Crowned the king (or queen) of destruction.
Like with Sakura Swoop, you’ll earn cherry blossoms based on your performance, and those blossoms can be spent on a whole new batch of limited-time goodies.
New Pets, Pet Wear, And A Magical Ride
Week Two will introduce two new pets:
- Kappakid (Rare): A mischievous little yokai-inspired creature you can get for 43,000 blossoms.
- Super Saru (Legendary): A golden, powered-up monkey inspired by the Monkey King. This one’s a flex-worthy addition for 135,000 blossoms.
There’s also an ultra-rare cloud vehicle hitting the shop for 175 Robux. Yep, you’ll literally be able to fly around Adoption Island on a personal cloud—just like the legend himself.
To top it all off, three new pieces of pet wear are on the way, along with a Magic Girl Grappling Hook that fits the whole spring anime vibe Adopt Me is going for this month.
A Focus On Earth Day And Helping Real Animals, Too
Week Two isn’t just about the chaos—it’s also about giving back. Starting Friday, Adopt Me is supporting WWF-UK’s Big Night In, a global effort to raise funds for wildlife and environmental conservation.
Players will be encouraged to donate if they’re able, and Adopt Me is hoping to raise £500 through its Earth Day campaign. Jesse even announced a special 3-hour livestream happening on April 22, where he’ll be playing spring mini-games, hanging out with the community on Discord, and answering player questions.
It’s a cool reminder that while we’re having fun in-game, there’s always room to make a difference in the real world too.
Week Two of the Cherry Blossom Festival officially kicks off this Friday, so there’s still time to rack up blossoms, level pets, and gear up for what’s next. You can check the countdown timer at playadopt.me/countdown to see exactly how long you have to wait.
Stay tuned—I’ll be back soon with more updates as they become available.
