The Adopt Me! Lunar New Year 2024 event kicks off this Friday, bringing four new snakes to collect over the next three weeks! Since this is the Year of the Snake, it only makes sense that we’re getting some slithery new pets to celebrate. But there’s a twist—only one legendary snake will be available for the full event, while the other three will be limited-time drops for just one week each.

New Snakes Arriving for Lunar New Year
While Adopt Me! is keeping most of the details under wraps (so expect some surprises!), we do know that:
- One legendary (the Gilded Snake) will be available all three weeks of the event.
- The other three snakes (the first is the Rare Blossom Snake) will rotate weekly, meaning you’ll need to check in each week to grab them all.
If you want to complete your collection, be sure to log in every week so you don’t miss a chance to grab each one!
Hunt for Shooting Stars to Earn Snakes
Instead of buying pets with Gingerbread or Bucks, this year’s Lunar New Year event will introduce a new way to collect rewards—shooting stars will be falling across Adoption Island!
Here’s how it works:
- Every 24 hours, a new batch of shooting stars will drop across the map.
- Players will need to search for and collect as many as possible.
- Stars can be spent at the Lunar Vending Machine to get snakes, pet wear, and toys!
- If you don’t want to grind for stars, there will also be an option to buy extra with Robux.
Expect More Surprises and Leaks
While Adopt Me! hasn’t revealed everything just yet, they’ve hinted that more surprises could drop throughout the event. Some of these might be revealed by the Creator Community, so keep an eye out for leaks on social media!
