Big news from the Gibbon Fairground—Adopt Me is switching things up for Week Two, and this time, it’s in your favor.
Instead of launching more content that would drain your Bucks, the devs have decided to give us a break and make it easier to earn. Starting this Friday and running all the way through Tuesday’s update time, we’re getting what the community has been begging for: a Double Bucks and Aging Weekend.
That’s right—you’ll earn 2x the Bucks and 2x the aging XP just by completing pet needs during the event. And with the extra-long weekend format, there’s plenty of time to age up pets and boost your inventory without burning out.

The Bonuses Don’t Stop There
Once the Double Weekend ends, Adopt Me is rolling out an all-new friend bonus system. Any time you’re playing in a server with at least one Roblox friend, both of you will earn 1.25x Bucks when completing needs. It’s a great way to team up, earn faster, and finally age that pet you’ve been putting off.
Supporting A Cause That Matters
Alongside the in-game updates, Adopt Me is also giving back. This month, the team is donating the equivalent of £15,000 to SpecialEffect, an incredible organization that helps people with physical challenges play video games.
SpecialEffect custom-builds gaming setups for individuals who need them, with a focus on accessibility, independence, and inclusion. From eye-tracking tech that lets players control games with just their eyes to robots that help kids connect with school and friends while recovering from illness—this group is doing game-changing work.
