This happened yesterday, and I’m still kinda sick about it.
I’d known this person for like two weeks. We met in a trading server, and they seemed cool. We weren’t besties or anything, but we played together a lot. Aged pets, did minigames, they even gave me a random rare once, no trade, just “here.” I started to think I could actually trust them.
So when they said they could help me finish aging my Neon Dragon to make a mega, I didn’t hesitate.
I gave them the Neon to age a bit more while I worked on the other three. They said they’d log off in 10 minutes but would be back later to trade it back.
Well… they didn’t come back.
I waited all night. Messaged. Nothing.
This morning, I checked and they’d unfriended me.
Gone.
That dragon wasn’t even a flex pet. It was my first neon legendary. I’d worked on it for weeks. I know, I know—I shouldn’t have trusted someone, even if they seemed nice. But I really didn’t think they’d do me like that.
What hurts more is it wasn’t even about the pet. It was the fact that I genuinely thought they were a decent person.
So yeah, lesson learned. Don’t give out pets, even to “friends.” If they really want to help, they’ll offer without needing the pet in their inventory.
I’m not gonna name them here or anything. Just needed to get this off my chest.
