The wait for Week Two of the Cherry Blossom Festival just got a whole lot more exciting—Adopt Me dropped a YouTube preview of the new mini-game Tear Up Toyko, and it’s pure chaos in the best way possible.
In the new video posted earlier today, we finally get a look at how the game actually works. Players ride massive kaiju-style monsters through a toy-sized city, smashing buildings and growing larger with every bit of destruction. The more you tear through, the more your monster evolves—until you’re towering over entire districts and flattening everything in sight.

Here’s what stood out in the preview:
- Real-time multiplayer: Up to four players battle it out in the same arena, racing to cause the most damage before the timer runs out.
- Evolving monsters: Your monster literally gets bigger as you crush more of the city—making it easier (and way more satisfying) to wreck everything.
- Toyko vibes: The map looks adorable but packed with detail, featuring mini skyscrapers, toy signs, and that classic Adopt Me polish.
- Victory crowns: At the end of each match, the player who caused the most destruction is crowned king (or queen) of Toyko.
We also got a closer look at some of the Week Two rewards, like the Kappakid and Super Saru, plus the cloud vehicle that looks like a dream to ride around in.
Tear Up Toyko officially launches this Friday, but this preview is more than enough to get the hype going. Make sure you’re stocked up on blossoms, and get ready to smash your way to the top!
