With less than a month until Adopt Me!’s 2024 Christmas event kicks off, the excitement is building! While the team hasn’t released any official details, I have a few predictions and a wishlist for what might be coming our way this holiday season. Here’s what I think (and hope!) we’ll see this year.

Ice Skating for Gingerbread
Ice skating for gingerbread has become a Christmas staple in Adopt Me! and, love it or hate it, I’m pretty sure it’ll be back. This annual event sees players slipping and sliding across the ice, dodging those famously pesky penguins. While some players might not be huge fans of the ice skating penguins, it’s still a festive tradition that brings the Adopt Me! holiday to life.
A New Ice Break Game?
In recent teasers, Adopt Me! showed an image of a sabretooth tiger frozen in ice, which might mean we’ll get a refreshed version of last year’s ice-breaking game. If it’s similar to past events, players could be teaming up to smash through ice, collecting rewards and gingerbread along the way. Here’s hoping we get to see some exciting variations this year!
Advent Calendar
The Adopt Me! Advent Calendar has become a beloved tradition, and I think it’s safe to say it’ll return this year. Each day leading up to Christmas, players can open a door on the advent calendar to claim rewards. Fingers crossed for a festive new pet as the grand prize—I’d love to see a Gingerbread Penguin or even a Peppermint Reindeer.
A New Adventure Game
I’m hoping Adopt Me! brings back an adventure game similar to last year’s Frostclaw’s Fury. While it had its share of complaints, I found it really fun and think it could be even better with an interactive twist—imagine a game where players get to choose how the storyline goes! A new adventure game would add some exciting holiday fun and make this year’s Christmas event one to remember.
Christmas Furniture Pack
Since we didn’t get a new furniture pack for Halloween, I’m really hoping Adopt Me! will surprise us with a Christmas-themed set. A festive furniture pack could bring gingerbread chairs, snowflake rugs, and holiday decorations that let players add some seasonal flair to their homes.
A Daily Finding Game with Candy Canes
The Purple Pumpkin Hunt from Halloween was a huge hit, and I’d love to see something similar for the Christmas event. Imagine a daily hunt for candy canes scattered across Adoption Island! It would be a fun daily activity to look forward to and add a little extra excitement to our holiday season.
Holiday Pass
Throughout the year, Adopt Me! has released event passes like the Pony Pass and Galactic Pass. I think a Christmas pass could be a great addition, with themed rewards players can unlock as they play through the event.
New Lure Bait
One of my favorite features in the game is the lure system, so adding a new bait option (like the Pupping Pup Bait from last year) would be amazing! It would be fun to see some exclusive Christmas-themed lures that attract unique pets or holiday-themed pet wear.
Puppy Loot Boxes
Last year’s Hare Boxes were awesome, and I think this Christmas could be even better with Puppy Loot Boxes! A box containing different dog breeds would be perfect for the season, and there are still so many breeds that haven’t made it into the game yet. Plus, dogs are classic holiday gifts, so why not add them to Adopt Me!?
Candy-Themed Bat Dragon
Lastly, who wouldn’t want to see a Candy-Themed Bat Dragon? It would be the ultimate holiday pet—a playful twist on a classic, with candy-cane wings or a festive red and green design. It would definitely be one of the most sought-after pets of the season!
